When I was 2, my parents started a landscape company. I grew up on job sites, planting flowers, watching bugs, learning about plants. My dad loved showing me all sorts of interesting critters he found while digging in the dirt. My mom taught me about flowers and design. On weekends we visited nurseries, botanical gardens, or attended garden tours. I am so grateful for their influence and raising me to love plants from a young age. Now that I am married with two sons, I continue to share our family’s passion for plants.

My design aesthetic is influenced by my background in retail merchandising, many classes in art, textiles, metalworking, and horticulture, along with our natural surroundings.

In 2021, A diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis changed my life in many ways, above all it motivated me to make the most of every day, be present, and follow my dreams. Alpine Charm helps me share my values of stewardship and love of plants with others.
